There can seemingly be more questions than answers when it comes to espresso, but we are here to help. Let us take you through a journey of dialing in, going through our checklists of what we are looking for, understand the mechanics of tamping, and so much more.

Espresso doesn't have to be intimidating, it's really just another brew method—one with a lot more pressure being applied to the coffee. Because of this, our approach to dialing it in will be different than other brew methods, but the same principles apply. Learn what those are and build your muscle memory to compete with the best of them out there, whether you are a home or pro barista, or perhaps just starting your coffee journey.
